Colonel S M Faisal (Retd) is the founder Managing Director of Combat Security & Services Ltd.Previously he worked as Director Aegis Services Limited, a Sister concern of Square Group.
He could build Aegis as a skilled and professional security company in Bangladesh.As a TQM (Total Quality Management)qualified person he believes in maintaining quality in the product and the people behind the product. Mr. Faisal observed with great concern that the security guards do not enjoy their Jobs inBangladesh.
Low salary and benefits, inadequate rest and refit are the main causes of dissatisfaction.But People give due importance to the security of men, material and information.The security services are becoming very challenging and demanding across the world.Hence, Mr. Faisal believes that professional training followed by suitable salary offer can make the industry flourishing and up trending.The Colonel was in active Military service for long 34 years. He has command,staff & instructional experience in Military, Para Military and Multinational forces.He served as United Nation Military observer at United Nation IRAQ IRAN observer groupin IRAQ. Besides commanding 02 Units (Artillery Regiment and Border guard battalion) he
held senior appointments as Colonel General Staff of Director General of Force Intelligence(DGFI), Station Commander of Cantonment and Colonel Administration of Defense services command
of Staff College. He is qualified intelligence officer from School of Military intelligence and has a long experience of intelligence service.Mr. Faisal accomplished many professional courses/training at home and abroad.He completed Governance and Management of Defense course in Nepal sponsored by
Royal Military College of science under Cranfield University of United Kingdom.
The Course concentration was on Defense management and security analysis.He also completed both Senior Command Course (1994) and Battery Commander course (1984) from the People ’s Republic of CHINA.Mr. Faisal completed Masters both in Business Administration (HRM) and Political Science including a diploma on Human Rights and Legal Aid. He did his specialization on Total Quality Management (TQM) from Institute of Business administration and management of United Kingdom.
